Kent & East Sussex Connexions

:: Welcome to Kent & East Sussex Connexions

History:
Kent Connexions was first published in January 1993 by Margaret Koolman, Sally Young and Graham Davies, as they realised the ever growing interest in complementary therapy. They decided that a magazine with a guide to therapies and indeed therapists was long overdue. The content and popularity of the magazine soon began to grow. Production was continued by Graham Davies and Maureen Ritchie, who had been involved with the magazine since the beginning, and they became a partnership in 1995. At the end of 1996, Graham and Maureen decided to expand awareness of the publication by incorporating the area of East Sussex, though it was not until April 2001 that the magazine became known as Kent & East Sussex Connexions.

Julie Thatcher began helping with the production of the magazine around 1996. In 2005, Graham decided to leave the magazine due to other commitments, so Julie took over his role as Maureen’s partner. Sadly, in November of 2005, Maureen Ritchie died.
