I have been out to germany this year – on a quick coach trip to see castles. That side of it wasn’t quite as fab as the brochure suggested, but I did enjoy seeing the way the country works. The transport systems are excellent and the hotel we used was very efficient in their handling of even the most difficult guest. They beamed brightly as soon as anyone appeared at their desk and carried out the request immediately. I was also intrigued to see all the major players in the industrial world had factories of sorts in ech of the towns our tour explored. There is much manufacturing still over there and we can only ask why this is not the case in UK. Why has all our manufacturing gone overseas to Asia? Getting the right infrastructure in place is key to successful trading around the world and we need to beef ours up big time.
