I have friends who recently took over running a historic herb garden up in a very small village in the hills over paphos, in cyprus. They have lived in the region for some years and know how they want to present their ideas. They have to pay a modest rent for the use of the herb garden – it comes with a useable building – the old village school house. My friends are using this for their small start up catering enterprise. As the village is off the beaten track, there is no accidental through traffic. You have to know there is going to be something there to greet you if you make that trek.
The important thing they have to remember is how to market themselves – getting the interest is a different matter there than here and much social media is employed – word spreads fast but it needs an expert in business connections and business marketing.
