There are always issues with IT support, no matter how good the agency!  Here are the top compaints about IT support…

  1. Applications or Hardware which fails to work.  This is a key issue for many firms, with frustration bubbling that features of their applications are clearly available but not working!
  2. Inconsistent WiFi.  When a business relys on internet to work, which many modern companies do, it is important that the wireless networks are always working.  As soon as the net is down, work essentially stops, causing a backlog in work and zero productivity.
  3. Slow computers or networks:  time costs money you know!  It is important that computers are fast enough to handle the work we throw at them, and being able to process many apps at the same time in the speed we expect is an important consideration.
  4. Too many password changes – if you have ever worked in a large business, you will know the frustration of annoying pop up messages informing you it is time ot update your password!  Having to remember a whole herd of passwords is not great for busy people, and being forced to change your password every couple of months is downright annoying…
  5. Not being admin of their own PC – as far as security is concerned, then yes it is important that people cannot fiddle too much with their computers, but not having basic admin rights means many tasks take much longer, due to flagging down the actual administrator to allow you to do things!
